VARADERO CUBA BEACH VOLLEYBALL
Varadero Cuba has long been one of the best beach volleyball venues in the world while showcasing some of the best volleyball players at the Olympics. Now Varadero will host both world class Volleyball tournament and professional volleyball players from the Cuban national teams.
In cooperation with the Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Beach Volleyball (NORCECA) Championship will be hosted in Varadero Cuba. This volleyball championship will be a professional volleyball Circuit sport played from the 6th of June to 11 June.
Varadero which is located only 140 km east of Havana Cuba, will host this event as defending champions for the second consecutive year. The number of teams in the volleyball circuit has grown from 12 to 18 teams featuring high level Volleyball beach competitions for both sexes.
Norceca stated that the Cuban beach resort in Varadero Cuba organized the best competition 6 to June 11 next year to showcase the talent of the 64 partner teams from 15 countries, plus the Cuban Volleyball champions. Mexico is the largest number of volleyball teams in the competition with four, followed by Grand Cayman Islands, Dominican Republic and United States, all with two and eight.
Varadero beach volleyball program has led to this world championship and fitness program that the started in the Cayman Islands from 21 to 26 March and will conclude in Varadero Cuba from 5 to December 10, with the top 2 winners gaining a place in the upcoming Olympic Volleyball Games in London 2012. The Cuban beach volleyball team has pledged to be the first place team once again.
