Varadero Beach Vacation

 VARADERO CUBA'S PERFECT BEACHES

Hunting these days for the "Perfect Beach" and we think we have found it in Varadero Cuba o nly 90 minutes from the exciting city of Havana Cuba. Truthfully there are a lot of great beaches in the Caribbean however there is only one beach that has absolutely everything you are looking for in a dream vacation getaway. Varadero Beach in Cuba has it all, warm soft sand, crystal clear water, stunning scenery, green lush vegetation, an incredible night life, and most of all on top of the incredibly rich history Varadero has the Cuban people which sign and dance with you till the sun comes up the next day.

Varadero has lots to do when the sun is beating on the hot Cuban sand.  Things to do include Water sports such as sailboats, Water skiing, Acua-Bikes, Banana Boat rides, Catamarans, and scuba diving with snorkeling tours on the Cuban reefs.

Tourist love walking along Varadero beach at dusk while watching the sun sink into the Caribbean beach blue green clear waters. The beset spot to watch the daily sunset is the top happy hour bar in the Dupont Mansion hotel where drinks are 2 for 1 during sunset.

Varadero Beach Adventures

Varadero Cuba !

A vacation bargain, Cuba offers gorgeous beach resorts on the beaches of Varadero, Holguin, Cayo Coco, Cayo Largo, and others, where talcum-white sand fringes warm, turquoise waters. Cubans may not be wealthy, but their love of life shows in their renowned friendliness and vibrant music. And they love us. They even hold annual Terry Fox Marathons (usually in March) across the island to mark our famous native son, with almost two million people participating. If you go, try to visit Old Havana and the interior town of Trinidad, both UNESCO Heritage sites.

Cuba's Top Beaches

From the pristine white sands of Varadero Beach to rougher terrain off the beaten path, Varadero is close to beaches that suit every taste.

Varadero Beach

The serene warm sunny Varadero waters are always inviting, with an average year-round water temperature of 24ºC-26ºC.Cuba’s premier beach destination, Varadero or Playa Azul in Matanzas province is 134 kilometres from Havana. This 21-kilometre strip of sparkling white sand on the Hicacos Peninsula juts out into the crystal clear Atlantic. A string of hotels backs onto the flat expanse of beach, and bars and other amenities are within shouting distance. But Varadero is not just a place to chill in the sand. Visitors to Varadero can jump on jet skis at the marina on the Bay of Cardenas, dive among shipwrecks and tropical fish in Cayo Piedra Underwater Park, or play a round of golf at the Varadero Golf Club with its intricate system of lagoons. Centre Plaza América, an international convention centre, has shopping malls, restaurants and amusement centres. Adventure seekers won’t want to miss Bellamar Cave, deep in the cliff overlooking Matanzas Bay, one of the Caribbean’s largest and most beautiful underground formations.
For the young and young at heart, cabarets, variety shows and live music make night time in Varadero something to savour.

  Cayo Largo

Cayo Largo del Sur, one of the largest of 300 cayos and islets of the Los Canarreos Archipelago, lies on the Caribbean Sea, 177 kilometres south of Havana. Strips of virgin beach with sun-bleached sand and warm crystal clear water extend for 27 kilometres. This tranquil island gives off a laid-back vibe and is clothing optional. Iguanas, chelonian, pelicans and herons make their homes on Cayo Largo. A 35-kilometre coral reef is home to black coral and underwater enthusiasts appreciate more than 30 diving sites and an international diving centre.

Jardines del Rey

Garden of the Kings beaches are a line of tiny islands off the Atlantic coast north of Cuba, 177 kilometres from Havana, inspired Ernest Hemingway’s well-known novels Islands in the Stream and The Old Man and the Sea. The islands of Jardines del Rey are a nature-lover’s paradise and are home to flamingos and roseate spoonbills. A 27-kilometre causeway links the islands to the mainland province of Ciego de Avila, Cuba’s agricultural district. A 402-kilometre coral reef, second in size only to the Great Barrier Reef, makes the islands of Jardines del Rey ideal for snorkelling and diving. Cayo Coco and Cayo Guillermo are two hot spots. Cayo Coco, a 22-kilometre stretch of beach, boasts mangroves and more than 200 species of birds. Four diving centres and 20 diving sites provide ample opportunity for divers to view many varieties of sea life such as parrotfish, grunts, yellowtail snappers, queen angelfish, anemones and spiny lobster.

Protected by a long coral reef only 2 km from shore, the seabed supports an astonishing variety of marine life. In addition to flora and fauna, there are also sunken ships to explore, including some dating from the 19th century.Close by, Cayo Sabinal is natural treasure well worth exploring. Once the refuge of pirates, the tiny island offers intimate beaches tucked into beautiful coastal scenery and an abundance of wildlife, virtually untouched by man. William Levy on Varadero Beach in Cuba

VARADERO CUBA & WILLIAM LEVY OF HAVANA

Varadero Cuba may be one of the most beautiful beaches in the world as well as the favorite beach of Cuban born Latin hunk William Levy who was born in Havana Cuba just 90 km from Varadero.  As they say in Miami Cuba's loss in William Levy coming to America is all women's gain now that his international telanovella fans can see William acting in many top Latin soap operas or even Dancing With The Stars where he basically stole the show with his stunning handsome and muscular good looks.

William Levy grew up in Havana and went to Varadero beach so its possible that when you go on your next Varadero vacation you will be able to see this hot Cuban movie star or maybe the next up and coming future movie star while your strolling along the Varadero beaches. Many tourist that visit Cuba are amazed by the many beautiful men & women that grace the stunning beaches of Cuba. In fact beautiful people watching is one of the many pastimes enjoyed on the beaches of Cuba and especially in Varadero which attracts an international array of movie stars and rich and famous actors.

Before you go on your next Cuba holiday just type in Varadero Beaches and famous Cuban movie stars and take a look at the talent that Cuba has sent to the entertainment world. William Levy will soon be back on Varadero beach as he plays a young Cuban boxer that flees to America in his next movie role and he has landed the Latin spokes person for Pepsi commercials however his next major role may be his biggest as he is on the short list to play Christian Grey in the romantic soft porn kinky romance movie "Fifty Shades Of Grey" Either way you will be seeing a lot more of this Cuban actor either on the big screen or on Varadero Beach in Cuba. Either way its best to watch William from your luxury resort in Varadero Cuba

HOW TO PARTY IN VARADERO CUBA

Varadero Cuba is considered to be one of the Worlds Top Vacation destinations. Varadero Beach is for tourist who would rather swim with the Varadero Dolphins and Golf on Cuba PGA Golf Varadero resorts on their holidays than laze around at a resort, this is one city that offers a lot by way of fun excursions.
For those of you who love the thrill of adventure sports, skydiving is on offer at the Centro Internacional de Paracaidismo. You will find this West of Varadero at an old airport. You will be taken up in an Antonov AN-2 bi-plane. History buffs will be thrilled to bits with the WWII plane and will be made to jump from a height of 3000m. Nothing to get scared about as the instructor will be strapped to your back and will be coming down with you. The fall is for about 10 minutes in which you will experience unparalleled tranquility.

When in Varadero, taking in the marine life is something that you simply cannot miss. One of the most popular cruises is the Seafari Cayo Blanco that goes to Cayo Blanco. A show with dolphins is on the cards as is snorkeling trips, some great music, food and all this with hotel transfers included. A complimentary sunset cruise is also yours for the taking. Among the cheaper activities are the catamaran rides which are not really publicized but which promise a great deal of fun.

And for those gentlemen who just cannot miss their weekend of golf, how about a quiet round at the well designed and secluded Varadero Golf Club. The original course had just 9 holes and this is now grown into 18 holes. You will need to do your bookings in advance though. It may be secluded, but it is in demand. If you are up to doing something interesting when at Varadero, you could hop onto some Russia MI-8 helicopters and take a Trinidad trip.

There is also what is called the Sugarcane Trip where you will taken to a now defunct sugar mill and will also get on a steam train ride, to the Cardenas Station.

Of course you have to eat at some point and the Restaurante Esquina Cuba is a one spot you should not miss. One for its delectable food and second for its soft-top from the 1950s that is placed bang in the center of the dining area. The food is reminiscent of Havana’s El Ajibe and is served with a great deal of warmth. You will also see rows of photos depicting how the place was once a mafia hangout.

If you are in Varadero between Tuesday and Sunday, do take a night to go watch one of the most outrageous floorshows in Cuba at the Cabaret Continental. You will have to book yourself for dinner, which begins at 8PM and then you will be able to watch singers and dancers regale you with their wonderful talents. A disco also opens up post this show and you may want to stay back for that as well.

Scuba diving is something that you have to do while here; to do it you head to the Cayo Piedras del Norte where an hour’s ride on a boat will take you to a marine park. This is a manmade sinking hole where old military equipment has been dumped. You will be taken on a really interesting underwater trip here and for those who want to Mambo the night away, the Club Mambo here is the place you want to be.

There is a lot to do in Varadero Cuba Health Spa Resorts no matter what type of entertainment you like.

CAYO BLANCO VARADERO

Varadero Cuba Sailboat
Vacation in Varadero Cuba

Varadero Cuba has a famous beach called Cayo Blanco, or "White Key", which is a small paradise half an hour away from Varadero, Cuba. You can enjoy a catamaran cruise, do some snorkeling, explore a unique beach, and watch a dolphin show. Cayo Blanco has a long, beautiful and pristine beach. What's unique about this beach is that the water is so shallow that it only reaches your ankle even if you walk some 600-1000 feet away from the shore.

Beaches of Cuba with the extremely shallow water and strips of sand extended to the ocean, are not surprising to see rare sights of people "walking on water.

Varadero Vacations can unwind on a luxury catamaran cruise to Cayo Blanco - an island that’s all white sands and clear waters. Setting sail from Varadero, you’ll have an hour or so to chill out on deck, sit in the shade or top up your tan on the nets as you glide over the waves. Your first stop is a small island where you can grab a snorkel and paddle around the colorful reefs. Next up is Cayo Blanco proper, where you’ll drop anchor off the beach for lunch. Tuck into fresh prawns, chicken, rice and optional lobster on deck as the waves lap around you. Afterward, there’s free time to sunbathe on the coral sands or swim in the ocean, perhaps taking another look at the undersea life - the waters here are bursting with tropical fish. Then, relax on board the catamaran again as we sail back to Varadero. Complimentary rum cocktails and beers are served throughout, helping to make the day complete.
